What’s Wrong With This Recipe?

To plan for our upcoming Christmas festivities, Husbandji asked me to find a simple, easy, recipe for Vegetarian Lasagna.

I did a Google search, and this is what I found.

Notice anything wrong?

Look again. Look at the first ingredient.

What. The. F**k?!!!!

If they can’t get this right, you might want to avoid the rest of this site’s recipes too…

Maybe the turkey was a vegan? LOL!

Maybe they meant ground tofurkey. But how would you grind tofurkey? I was more impressed by the second ingredient, manwich sauce. Do they still make that? Would I put it in lasagna? I would just go out and buy a frozen one!

That is absolutely hilarious! It reminds me of Paul’s photo of a slab of ham at a deli that had a price tag on it with a sign above that said. “Happy Hannukah.”

Maybe they meant “Easy Veterinarian Lasagna”.

I really think you should stay away from this site. The second ingredient is “Manwich sauce” Not very promising…

I hope no one actually cooks it and offers it to guests as a veggie dish!

i find it rather hard to find true veg dishes; lots of hidden ingredients like gelatin and chicken broth etc.
    one must be careful.
    even gummi bears are verboten!

TigerYogiji replies: Even my beloved Peeps are off the list!! 😦

Turkeys are veggie you now so it’s ok to eat them. Someone actually told me that before. I believe they were being serious.
