James Bond, but not Thor…

It’s being reported that Daniel Craig has turned down the role of The Mighty Thor in the upcoming Marvel Studios film.

What a pity.

I SO could have seen him in that role, couldn’t you?

He certainly wouldn’t have needed any padding…

Oh Yes… He would have been “marvelous”. Too Bad.

Thor was one of my favorites when I was growing up…
I’m just wondering who they have lined up for Loki… (Thor’s evil half-brother) …and it would be absolutely fabulous if Ian McKellan would be Odin (Thor’s father).

TigerYogij replies: How about Colin Farrel for Loki? I think that Sir Ian has been used too much in the Marvel Universe already. How about Brian Blessed? He would be faaaaabulous!!!

Thor is being made into a movie??!! Way excitement!!!
I was recently watching bits of the Mighty Thor on Youtube. I’d forgotten how bad the illustrations were. However, I liked Thor the best – mostly for Loki
I recently completed a history course on the Vikings and hearing the Norse Pantheon makes me eager for more. Bring him on!

He would definitely fit that role better than James Bond. There was something about him that said he wasn’t James Bond material. Now he just needs to grow his goldilocks. 😉
