I’m going on hiatus.
Between my father’s health (which is improving, I’m happy to say, but, we still have a long road ahead of us), and my inability to access anyone’s blog from work, much less my own, I’m finding that I just don’t have the time right now to give this blog the attention that it deserves.
So, for the time being, I won’t be around much.
Once everything gets settled, I’ll be back.
You all take care of yourselves until then, you hear?
I’ll keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.
The Hanuman Jayanti is Lord Hanuman’s “birthday”.
It is celebrated on the day of the first full moon of Spring.
A traditional practice is to sing 108 Hanuman Chalisas that day, which are said to bring the devotee wisdom, strength and the resolution of their problems!
Jai! Jai! Hanuman!!

Hello My Minions!
Sorry for the delay in posting. Once again the Powers That Be at work have hit the “CENSOR” button and I cannot access anyone’s blog from work! 😦
So posting from work will be sporadic at best until they relax their guard things go back to normal…
In other news, my father is back at the hospital AGAIN!
He had been at the rehab hospital this past week and had been on the fast track for being home for Easter, but, it was not to be.
He’s been throwing up bile for the past couple of days, a lot of it, and they have determined that there is a blockage in his colon.
Apparently, the blockage is normal after surgery, only that it usually manifests itself much sooner (within a day or two of the procedure) and since he didn’t get it back then, the doctor assumed that he wasn’t going to get it and sent him to the rehab hospital.
He’s getting excellent care, so it’s just a waiting game at this point while the doctors decide what the next step is.
It feels like all that we’ve been doing for the past two months is going back and forth between numerous hospitals and everyone, especially my father, is sick of it!
Hopefully this will all be over soon, and my father will be coming home shortly.
I’ll keep you all posted. TTFN!!
The doctor’s have determined what the infection is that my father has, and they can administer an antibiotic pill to him to treat it!
Which means that they will be transferring him to the rehab hospital TODAY for about a week of rehab, and then he comes home!!!
Such good news!! 🙂
In other news though, my Akshay may be in trouble with the law!!
One thing’s for sure.
If it had been me unbuttoning his jeans, rather than his beard wife, I wouldn’t have stopped at just the top button! Yowza!!!
Something faaaabulous to end the week! Enjoy!!
A little something to “cleanse the palate”, after yesterday’s (Ack!) joke.
