Update Time

Hello My Minions!

Sorry for the delay in posting. Once again the Powers That Be at work have hit the “CENSOR” button and I cannot access anyone’s blog from work! 😦

So posting from work will be sporadic at best until they relax their guard things go back to normal…

In other news, my father is back at the hospital AGAIN!

He had been at the rehab hospital this past week and had been on the fast track for being home for Easter, but, it was not to be.

He’s been throwing up bile for the past couple of days, a lot of it, and they have determined that there is a blockage in his colon.

Apparently, the blockage is normal after surgery, only that it usually manifests itself much sooner (within a day or two of the procedure) and since he didn’t get it back then, the doctor assumed that he wasn’t going to get it and sent him to the rehab hospital.

He’s getting excellent care, so it’s just a waiting game at this point while the doctors decide what the next step is.

It feels like all that we’ve been doing for the past two months is going back and forth between numerous hospitals and everyone, especially my father, is sick of it!

Hopefully this will all be over soon, and my father will be coming home shortly.

I’ll keep you all posted. TTFN!!

Your father’s reaction sounds similar to what happened to my wife last July. We are not sure what caused it, but her colon “spasmed” and twisted itself like a knot. What went down came right back up and neither looked not smelled pretty on the return trip. The good news for her (and I hope for your father) was that with rest and a gentle diet for a couple of days, everything relaxed and went back to normal without surgery, etc. Best wishes!

My best to your dear Father. I know he is ready to be feeling well and back to “normal”!

I have a feeling after July 1st our internet usage will be limited SEVERELY.
Ah well i’ll enjoy it while I can!
Happy Easter to you, Husbandji & Teddyji!
